Yoga Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley: Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, Retreats, Private and Semi-Private Classes
Like many people I got smitten by the pace of life, duties and expectations, concentrating primarily on sorting out existential problems (well, no one can say that they are not important) and keeping my physical reality protected from falling apart. In the other hand I completely abandoned some very important spiritual aspects of life, losing contact with my inner true being.

But… I remembered the times when it was not like that, when I felt strongly connected with the world around, the time when I believed in miracles and witnessed some as well; and I wanted to go back.
I wanted to do something…..

That was a mind set that I was in when I came to Annie’s Yoga.

Coming to Annie’s was by chance (if anything in life happens by chance).

I like Annie’s Yoga; it is a nice neighborhood studio, friendly and quiet.

After 3 months of practicing once a week (although I would love to be able to come more often) some very positive changes took place and are taking place in my life.

Just 10 days after I started Yoga I landed a new job, great job I can tell. I need to mention that I was looking for an opportunity like that for a long while, but nothing was coming my way…I couldn’t believe it; it came “out of the blue”. Then a month later, I was offered another one, even better job. Funny feeling is when you have to choose among two good things…

I suppose that Yoga helps me balancing my energy and making me more receptive to positive things.

I also lost 10 pounds without any effort (…I know…I should lose another 20).

There is a feeling of some greater internal “re-structuring” within me going on, hard to explain. I feel more “myself”; it is easy to be kind to people, open and calm, distant but alert at the same time; feeling of being more here and now- actually exactly what I wished for.

I consider myself lucky to have an opportunity to have Steven for a teacher. He is extremely devoted to his doing and genuinely concern for progress and health of each and every of us.
He encourages us to give our best effort, pushing a bit further every time and caring at the same time that we don’t hurt ourselves doing it. To me he looks like a guy who eats, breaths and dreams Yoga. I believe that for him Yoga is not an addition to the rest of his life, but rather that Yoga is his world and his life. Depth of his commitment to Yoga and selfless sharing of his knowledge with others make him an excellent trustworthy teacher.

Thank you Steven!

Also I think that it is a great idea to have Yoga for kids, hopefully it will grow stronger!

I’m very happy that I have “found” Annie’s Studio and hope that Yoga will stay my permanent companion.

Best!
